Figured I may as well keep you updated on my Dunk Journey thru these podcasts as well.

Trying to get my 8 hours of sleep
So important but I'm anxious as can be
Might be dunking with the boyz tomorrow
Couple of the pros that make me feel like I'm still learning the ropes but I'm supposed to struggle
So I show the hustle
I grow the muscle
Trying to become baby Russell
I'm slowly building like I'm making a puzzle

And I'm getting close
Forgot to do the corners first but I'm takin notes
Learning the details zay knows how it goes
He's a student and I'm influenced
I used to not even listen my own advice and it was right under my nose

Meaning take it slow
Not take it easy but diagnose
Now I know how the show goes
I go by my responses like I'm telling jokes
Adapt to any situation like I'm switching homes
Thru the Highs and lows
From my mind to my toes
Never outworked till I find my clone
And even then we wouldn't tie for gold


My body reacts to the stresses
And I gotta address this
This is for all my dunk lifers
I ain't gotta address this
You know who you are and forget who the rest is
I'm restless but this is just helping the tension

Post session

I did alright but my body was feelin tight
This weekend I thought I took it light
But I guess those sprints got me hype
Cuz I've been sore for 3 days
Lactic acid burning inside
So I've been stretching overtime
But still feelin like im so behind
I'm bout to rest but you kno I'm lying
I'm trying to be my best I can't slow the grind

Patience is harder than ever
Especially on the edge of new levels about to be entered
Gotta stay balanced and centered
Focus on needs over pleasure
To prove to myself the bury treasure
Is not just a dream but a goal to be measured

It still feels out of my reach
But it always will to it's finally achieved
So I wait and see and enjoy the scenes
It wasn't really in my genes so I'm busting thru seems
Till I make em all believe
