show moreWe all have a lot to say. How we use our words can lead us toward troubled waters. Mainly because most of those receiving don’t meet your presence with acceptance. Absolutely we live in the land of free speech and opportunity. We also live within the replenished soils that make up cancel culture. Comedians are having to change their live performances because of their words. A single person can say something about Batman and totally irritate the lovers of bats around the world. How dare anyone think this nighttime flying creation be connected to hunting down bad people. We are offended by such a connection. Ho hum. It’s part of that group of people who kill millions of spiders every day then use chemicals to fill the air because there are too many flying insects interrupting the moments that which make up the day. People and their words. Being heard isn’t what captures my attention. Silent introverts do! What are you thinking? Where are you planting your words? Quiet introverts are people watchers, planners and careful about stepping outward. But do they have a lot to say? This is why I practice stream writing seven days a week. One page. Ten minutes to write. No editing. Let it all out. Look at your words. Hear your voice without words being spoken. What did you learn about your point of direction? We all have something to say. How are you using your words? Musicians and songwriters get to hide behind fancy poetry. Politicians rely on shaming those who don’t believe while inciting fear so you will begin to follow. Preachers rely on the word. I’m a hidden speak writer. I say things that make people assume when in reality the interpretation was completely out of focus of the original idea. Getting to know your words opens the door for you to believe in the spirit of being heard.
