Message:
We often see weakness as something to be avoided, but God sees it as an opportunity to reveal His power. In 2 Corinthians 12:9, Paul speaks about a thorn in his flesh—a struggle he wanted God to remove. But instead of taking it away, God reassured him that His grace was sufficient and His strength was perfected in weakness.
Sometimes, God does not remove our struggles but uses them to draw us closer to Himself. When we come to the end of our strength, we find that His strength is limitless. Our weaknesses remind us that we are not self-sufficient; we need His grace daily.
Instead of being discouraged by our limitations, we can embrace them as places where God’s power can shine. When we rely on Him, He strengthens us in ways we could never achieve on our own. His grace is always enough.
Today, ask yourself: Do I see my weakness as a burden or as an opportunity for God’s power to work in me? Am I relying on my own strength, or am I leaning on God’s grace? How can I trust Him more in my struggles?
Prayer:
Almighty Father, thank You for Your grace that sustains me. When I feel weak, remind me that Your strength is made perfect in me. Help me to rely on You and not on my own abilities. Let Your power be revealed in my life as I trust You more. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
