Although details are still being released, what has been shared seems to suggest that we enter this new year faced with an old international/foreign policy problem. I think this is fitting, considering the catastrophe and chaos that the US government has continued to perpetuate in the Middle East. And I believe this is one of those moments that we should remember where we were when it happened.
