ITVT is pleased to present another episode of “Televisionation,” our new video/audio podcast exploring the advanced/interactive-TV industry in the Coronavirus/Covid-19 Era.

This episode features Larry Namer, who co-founded E! Entertainment Television and is now President of Metan Global Entertainment Group, a company that specializes in producing and distributing content for Chinese-speaking audiences in China and internationally. “Metan is a very modern take on how media companies must structure in today’s rapidly changing business landscape,” the company’s Web site explains. “No longer is content distributed over a single technology and no longer is the United States the totally dominant marketplace for content.”

Among other things, Namer discusses his long and distinguished career in television, the impact of Covid-19 on production, how Metan seeks to bridge the cultural differences between Hollywood and China, and the various opportunities presented by the Chinese market.
