We discuss the longevity of consumer affairs programmes. The queen of the genre is “Watchdog”. It’s always full of disasters & tales of woe. It seems they’ve ditched the bank of phone operators & the show comes from a corridor in Salford. We also discuss Rip off Britain. Plus... the McDonalds vegan burger… that is stupidly cooked in the same fryers as the meat products. That’s going to be popular with vegans – we don’t think! And… Tesco announces they’re going to reduce the price of their vegan products and making the “plant based” section clearer to make it more appealing.
