MLB proposes a 72 game season with 80% of their prorated salaries if the post season is played, and 70% if it is not. The season would begin July 14th. Would include 21 days of spring training. MLB the ONLY professional sport that is yet to have a plan to start playing.

...adding… MLB also informed the players they need to complete a deal by Sunday or the number of games will be decreased from the 72 offered due to time constraints. MLB seeks to keep postseason to October due to its TV schedule, possible competition and especially concerns about Covid-19

MLB Draft - Angels 1st Rounder "Most complete pitcher" in draft. Out of Louisville, left handed pitcher who doesn't light up the radar gun but can still bring the heat with a 95 fastball. Killer curveball dropping 12 - 6 as slow as 72mph. 20mph difference in pitches.
FYI … DODGERS drafted Louisville pitcher as well.

Rob Manfred is just a puppet for the MLB Owners and that’s exactly why he was appointed. Might also be the reason why baseball takes a step back.

With the success of the Jordan and Bruce Lee documentaries, Magic Johnson documentary set for 2021 has been greenlit.

What happens if players refuse to play? Number thrown out there is that roughly 40 players would refuse to play under the proposed restrictions.

Texans O’Brien says he’ll take a knee with players.

Commissioner Godell finally came out with a public statement. But only AFTER the new face or the future of the NFL, Patrick Mahomes came out with a collective statement of his own.
Even then he did not directly mention anything about Colin Kaprenick. But rumblings around the NFL indicate that this might have opened the door for him to return.

Of course the Kap camp says “he’s in the best shape of his life.”
