He: "השמש זהבה שופעה חמה וחשופה על אזרחי העיר הבלתי-מנוחה."
En: The sun shone brightly and warmly on the restless citizens of the city.

He: "תל אביב עיר פתוחה ומתפשטת על פני החוף. בין בנינים משולשים וסוככי התרנגולים,"
En: Tel Aviv, an open city that stretched along the coast, was filled with triangular buildings and the sounds of roosters.
