We seem to have forgotten about the left-right paradigm and how raw rhetoric, propaganda, and talking points can so effectively warp our perception of reality. President Joe Biden's SOTU address did just that. Throughout the entire performance, we saw more Ukrainian flags and colors than U.S. flags or colors. It's hard to imagine how some can listen to the rhetoric about new jobs, oil releases from the national reserve, funding the police, dropping masks, etc., and honestly believe that their side, color, team, and collective is responsible for all things considered good. It's hard to believe that a 'pandemic' and conflict in a foreign country can be blamed for the political policies that decimated jobs and businesses, segregated the population, drove up the cost of living and gas, backed the non-enforcement of the law, oversaw rising crime, and demanded masks be worn almost always. Yet, people nodded their heads through the speech and even cheered when Biden said Putin will not win the hearts of Iranians when he meant Ukrainians. The Buffoon show of clowns continues.
