Over the past 35 years New Age and instrumental ambient music has gained an ever larger and enthusiastic audience. Music that relaxes, soothes, and promotes healing can now be found everywhere, such as in therapeutic settings, yoga studios and meditation courses. Within this vast genre, there are pioneers with a particular type of sound, one that appeals to the deeper reaches of human emotions, dreams, and the vibrations of the natural world. The music of one such man, David Helpling, embraces all these qualities.
In this show we will explore the influences that inspired David’s musical career from his first album “Between Green and Blue”, released in 1996, to the release of the last album in a trilogy created with Jon Jenkins, in 2013.
