Artists are known far and wide as being unintentional narcissists. To be fair, I include myself in this definition, as I'm a creative as well. When I heard I was going to be interviewing Jason Blake from Aziola Cry, I was worried because I loved the music so much that I feared all I would do is make it clear that if their drummer ever died in a bizarre gardening accident, that I'd be the perfect fit to replace him.
Fortunately, Jason laughed that stuff off and kept me on point as an interviewer. The beauty of this particular interview is that we got to talk about all sorts of things that make guys like us tick, yet the conversation stayed attainable enough for the musical newbie to enjoy what Jason and his bandmates have to offer.
the new album, the Ironic Divide, is available now and worth every red cent you can throw at it. As you're my faithful listeners, I implore you to purchase it today. The links to the band's social media and record label are included in the notes below.
Thanks for letting me ramble a little extra today and please enjoy my chat with the master of the Warr Guitar, Jason Blake of Aziola Cry, on the Rockstar Superhero Podcast.
