Hailing from Birmingham "Mad Dog" as was his ring moniker showed talent from a young age, but as he tells in part one of this honest account of himself he was lacking the discipline required in the early stage of his career. After the tragic suicide of a close friend Wayne made the decision to reapply himself to his trade, and boxing with a photo of his dead friend in his boot went about winning ABA, British and World titles in quick succession.
