In the old days of radio the on air talent would break free of each other during the holidays because we knew someone was going to get it off. That meant the rest of us were going to have extended air shifts. Not always a pleasant place to play on the stage. Radio listeners always made up for it. They'd bring over food because they knew we were away from our families. There truly is a connection between the speakers.
