show moreThere is a distinction between the law of man and natural or cosmic law. Man’s law is his attempt to impose a prescriptive governance upon his environment and the people around him. Cosmic law is how things are; we learn cosmic law through observation, experience and exploration. Virtue is correct behavior in line with cosmic law.
The mind, body and spirit are prepared to better understand cosmic law through questions, physical activities practiced in nature to show an interdependent relationship betweeen the mind, body and the world around us. Knowledge of the law makes us aware of the forces acting on us and the effects these forces have on us. All this to say, that the better attuned you are to cosmic law, the better you are able to determine the outcomes of your action; or more simply put, the better you conduct yourself in accordance with cosmic law, the better your chance to achieve your desired goals.
