First, Ky explores the shocking case of Tiara Hill, a 35-year-old mother from Mobile, Alabama, who was arrested after police discovered a stash of drugs and firearms not only in her possession but also in her three-year-old child's backpack. On March 31, 2024, following a tip-off, authorities found cocaine, marijuana, and handguns, exposing her children to unimaginable dangers. The reckless disregard for her children's safety led to multiple charges, including chemical endangerment of a child and trafficking cocaine. Sheriff Paul Birch called the situation "absurd" and highlighted the alarming potential risks to the children. Ky breaks down the case and shares her thoughts on the mother's behavior.

Next, Ky takes us back 20 years to the cold case of 15-year-old Elena Laswell, who was brutally murdered in her Phoenix, Arizona home on July 10, 2004. Despite initial dead ends, the case was reopened in 2012, leading to the identification and eventual extradition of Sergio Francisco Reyes, now 37, from Mexico. With DNA evidence and thorough investigation, Reyes was finally apprehended and faces multiple felonies, including sexual assault and first-degree murder. Elena's family, especially her aunt Kate Turville, expresses relief and gratitude for the long-awaited justice, although it comes after Elena's mother's passing. Ky reflects on the perseverance of the Phoenix Police Department and the emotional toll on the family.
