Pennsylvania remains one of best states for spotting UFOs, and 2020 is booming

Pennsylvania was the fifth best state for UFO sightings from January 2019 through June 2020.

In that period Pennsylvanians reported 358 sightings of strange lights and objects in the sky to the National UFO Reporting Center, according to an analysis of the center’s database by SatelliteInternet.com, which researches satellite internet.

That placed Pennsylvania behind California, with 752 reported sightings; Florida, 567; Washington, 386 and Texas, 375.

And 2020 is shaping up as a record year for UFOs over Pennsylvania. From January-June 2020, Pennsylvanians have filed 135 reports, nearly double the 75 reports filed during the first half of 2019.

“Hovering triangular object with three white lights and one red,” read a May 26 report from Mars, Pennsylvania.

“A very bright orange glowing craft (that I thought was on fire) traveled in a low altitude heading south from the northeast,” reported someone in Bethlehem on May 23.

A March 21 report from Harrisburg noted, “Dozens of odd shaped lights traveling at snail pace in the sky. Some traveling in triangle formation and some alone. One large craft stood still mostly but moved on occasion ascending and descending. Large bright light. Family member reported seeing the same about a mile away as well as one flickering on and off with red lights. Definitely an ongoing thing seeing these craft at night.

UFOs have been reported in the skies over Pennsylvania 3,887 times, according to the National UFO Reporting Center, which has been gathering reports since 1947.

That ranks Pennsylvania eighth among all 50 states in total reported sightings of eerie lights, erratically moving aircraft and mysterious metal saucers.

California is No. 1, with 13,559 reports, followed by Alabama, 10,882; Florida, 6,534; Washington, 5,894; Texas, 4,969; New York, 4,689; Arizona, 4,028; Pennsylvania, 3,887; Illinois, 3,616; and Ohio, 3,566.

Derbyshire named as UFO hotspot in new report

Fresh Student Living has released a new list – based on Freedom of Information results from the RAF – of the UK areas with the most reports of flying saucers.

In the list of 56 locations, Derbyshire comes in at number four – with 22 UFO sightings over a 12-month period. London tops the list with 54 reports.

Derbyshire has a long history of mysterious goings-on in the sky.

Perhaps the most famous UFO report in the county came in 2000 when Sharon Rowlands used her camcorder to film a huge craft above her house one October night.

Her video was classed by some alien experts as ‘one of the most important pieces of footage ever taken’ and Sharon reportedly sold it to an American producer for £20,000.

As far as we are aware, no documentary or film has been aired as of yet.

She told reporters: “It resembled a giant disc with a bite taken out of the bottom.

“As it hovered over the woods, it seemed to expand and then get smaller again.

“We could see it pulsing as if it started up and then it just went it came really close at one stage and I thought it was going to land in the field.

“You can hear me on the video say ‘wow’!”

UFO hunters claim to have found video proof of aliens watching Earth, calling the raw footage "just amazing".

The UFO or unidentified flying object was filmed on June 27 over the southern rim of the Grand Canyon in the US. According to self-titled UFO expert Scott Waring, this part of the US is home to frequent UFO sightings. Mr Waring said the video footage is guaranteed to surprise anyone who sees it.

The video appears to show a white orb or disk with a dark centre up in the air.

Mr Waring has bizarrely claimed the dark centre is the UFOs alien pilot observing the humans below him.

He said: "Watch this video below and I guarantee it will surprise you.

"This UFO is in high detail, but it's not an orb, its a disk.

"The clear transparent dome is seen in it and the alien who is piloting the craft is watching the person below.

"Arizona is famous for its UFO sightings and in such a low populated area, UFOs will be more frequently buzzing around.

"This raw footage is just amazing and it tells us so much in it."

An eyewitness statement published alongside the video reads: "On June 27, 2020, at approximately 1921 hours, over a dozen tourists observed a stationary circular object with a hole in the middle hovering in one location to the right of the Moon near some clouds, for over 30 minutes.

"Video and pictures were taken with a Samsung phone, which will be uploaded later.
