Uncle Louie is a disco funk band created by Walter Murphy. He is a composer keyboardist, songwriter, and record producer. He is a classically trained pianist and former advertising jungle writer, comes to fame with his disco single A Fifth of Beethoven that topped the US Hot 100 in 1976. It was featured on the best-selling soundtrack to Saturday Night Fever in 1977.
