People are calling for the boycotting of Kate Smith's "God Bless America" rendition at sporting events because she once covered a song deemed racist back in the 1930s. Her "God Bless America" song has been used in numerous arenas and ballparks like for the Philadelphia Flyers as well as the New York Yankees. By association, people do not think it's a good idea, even though Smith was not a known racist & was actually a philanthropist for numerous causes. VB shares his thoughts on the matter.
