The work of God is BELIEF in Jesus as the Christ. How do we know what to believe? We read the Scriptures with a believing heart of faith. Over and over Steve points us back to the solid ground of immersing ourselves in the Scriptures, seeking to discover Jesus. When we accept God’s Word as truth through the lens of the life and purpose of Jesus as Reconciler, we let the scriptures define us rather than trying to explain them. “The Law of Love” was Jesus’ directive for the Church. All of God’s power is expressed from that foundation. We’re all looking for mercy.
Scripture Readings: Tier One: NT – John 3-9, II Thessalonians 2-3, I Timothy 1-6 Tier Two: OT - Exodus 28-36, Psalms 21-25, Isaiah 64, Jeremiah 1-2
