They discuss the news that Attorney General Jeff Sessions met twice with the top Russian diplomat in Washington during the heat of the 2016 election. This, despite stating during his Jan. 10 Judiciary Committee confirmation hearing “I have been called a surrogate at a time or two in that campaign and I did not have communications with the Russians.”

They also discuss the best way forward for unbiased and objective oversight of ongoing investigations into Russian election tampering and the contacts between Trump team members and Russian officials.
