Why does your body sometimes resist movement, even when you genuinely want to exercise? In this episode of Into the Green Zone we explore how our past experiances shapes our relationship with movement. They explain why exercise can feel threatening for many people, especially those living with chronic pain, disability, eating disorders, neurodivergence, or difficult past experiences with movement.Together we unpack why freezing, avoiding, or pushing too hard aren't signs of laziness or a lack of motivation. They're often protective responses. If you've ever wondered why consistency feels so difficult, this episode offers a different perspective: your body may not need more discipline. It may need more safety.

If you enjoyed this episode, we'd love it if you followed the podcast, left a review, or shared it with someone who might find it helpful.
