Capping off what has been a stellar year for Brisbane melodic hardcore outfit She Cries Wolf, the band will be hosting a celebration party of sorts at the Crowbar on December 21.

After starting the year by surprising their fans with the strategically balanced release of third album Liar, the band has travelled the country alongside Heist, sold out headlining shows and managed to perform at the iconic Princess Theatre.

Reflecting back on the year, Luke Harriss takes us back to the release of Liar in February.

"It was something that we went to Tim with - because we were sitting on that album for a number of months - and then Tim Price from Collision said it would be a good idea to go with by just dropping it. I had the idea for a while to drop an album like a thief in the night so to speak and he affirmed it and agreed it would be a cool idea. He recommended the teaser which was with the artwork and we decided to get some people to share that around with the hashtag #everyonelovestheliar and it went really well. It was cool".
