Description
Alright, fellow beachgoers, let's dive into the latest surf zone forecasts for some epic waves and sunny vibes! Today's forecast takes us on a coastal journey from the sandy shores...
show moreStarting off in Coastal Pender, where we're looking at a moderate risk of rip currents lingering through this evening. Surf heights ranging from 2 to 4 feet, with plenty of sunshine and high temps in the lower 80s. Remember, keep an eye out for those rip currents! And on Juneteenth, expect a high rip current risk, so surf wisely, friends.
Moving down to Coastal New Hanover, with a similar setup - moderate rip current risk, 2 to 4 feet surf, and loads of sunshine. But hey, on Juneteenth, prepare for a sunny day with a high rip current risk and watch out for those waterspouts!
Now let's drift over to Coastal Brunswick, where a beach hazards statement is in effect today. East of Ocean Isle Beach, the rip current risk is low but moderate to the west. Surf heights vary, along with a very high UV index. Sunny skies and mid-80s temps await, but be cautious of that east to west longshore current.
Next up, Coastal Horry, with a moderate rip current risk. Surf heights sitting at 2 to 4 feet, plenty of sun, and low 80s temps. Watch out for that north to south longshore current and keep an eye on the elevated rip risk expected later this week!
And lastly, in Coastal Georgetown, moderate rip current risk today, with 2 to 4 feet surf and lots of sunshine. Tomorrow might bring a high rip current risk along with a slight chance of showers. So stay tuned for some potentially juicy waves!
Remember, surfers, always check the conditions before hitting the waves, and most importantly, stay safe out there. This has been a Quiet Please Studios audio creation with the help of AI. Please subscribe and never miss a Swell! Thank you for listening.
