Gadsden, is a city in Etowah County Alabama. Located on the Coosa River, about 56 miles northeast of Birmingham and 90 miles southwest of Chattanooga, Tennessee. All throughout the 20th century, and even today, there was a dark morbid tale being told around Gadsden. that a witch, living in a shack, along the wooded area of Hinds Road, sold her soul to the devil and, her evil soul continues to frighten the people of Gadsden, the Witch of Hinds Road.
