Our Mission: Since 2006 it has been Spirit of Children Halloween’s mission to use the excitement of Halloween and imagination to bring communities closer and help make a child’s medical journey less scary. With support from passionate guests, help from our vendors and licensing partners, we have raised over $127 million and counting to support Child Life Services.
We Put Your Dollars to Work: Every penny of each donation made to Spirit of Children goes directly to each store’s local partner hospital’s Child Life Department to support children and their families while they receive care. Partner hospitals use donations to provide critical child life staff, sibling and family support services, sensory equipment, and patient-focused resources, including therapy programming, toys, crafts, art supplies, and so much more. Plus, every Halloween all partner hospitals receive packages filled with costumes, accessories, coloring books, crayons and tote bags to help facilitate festive Halloween celebrations for patients, caregivers, and their families.
