Story Transcript:

He: בחצי השני של יום שישי, כשהשמש חלשה את אורה מעל הבניינים הגבוהים של תל אביב, אברהם, רחל ומשה התיישבו בקפה האפשרי היחיד שעוד לא סגר לשבת.
En: In the second half of Friday afternoon, when the sun was weakening its light above the tall buildings of Tel Aviv, Abraham, Rachel, and Moses settled in the only café that had not yet closed for Shabbat.

He: הם חשבו שאולי הפעם, לפחות הפעם האחת, יגיעו מדויק לשיעור היוגה של השישי בערב.
En: They thought that maybe this time, at least this time, they would make it precisely to the yoga class on Friday evening.

He: אברהם, עם תיק היגאומה כבר מונח על השולחן, נסה להסביר למשה את המושג "איחור".
En: Abraham, with his gym bag already placed on the table, tried to explain to Moses the concept of "lateness."

He: משה, שלעולם לא הגיע במדויק לאף אירוע מימיו, היה עד המתנגד לרעיון שאפשר להגיע בזמן.
En: Moses, who had never arrived on time to any event in his life, was adamantly opposed to the idea that one could arrive on time.

He: רחל, ששקתה ממזוג האוויר השצוף מעליה, שמשה את תיק היוגה שלה, מתחילה לחוש במתח.
En: Rachel, feeling the warmth of the sun shining down on her, grabbed her yoga bag, feeling a sense of tension.

He: היא אהבה לבנות את האנרגיה שלה לקראת פתיחת השיעור, ומקווה שמשה יקבל את הרעיון.
En: She loved to channel her energy towards the beginning of the class and hoped that Moses would accept the idea.

He: אברהם נסה להיות גם מעניין וגם מובן.
En: Abraham tried to be interesting and understandable at the same time.

He: הוא אמר, "משה, אני מבין שאיחור זה חלק מהטמפרמנט שלך, אי הדאגה השקטה שאתה מוביל איתך לכל מקום, אבל זה לא עוזר!
En: He said, "Moses, I understand that lateness is part of your temperament, the calm carelessness that you carry with you everywhere, but it's not helpful!

En: It's annoying!

En: It disrupts the plan!"

He: "רחל נכנסה לשיחה, "הבנתי שאתה לעולם לא מאחר, אלא מעמדת לחכות לנו שלא נאחר?
En: Rachel joined in, "I understand you never run late, but can you stand waiting for us not to be late?"

He: " אמרה למשה בחיוך.
En: she said to Moses with a smile.

He: הייתה לה קטינה שאולי משה יכול להבין את הנושא מזווית מבולבלת כמו זו.
En: She was hoping that maybe Moses could understand the issue from a confused perspective like hers.

He: אז קרה הפלא: משה הישראלי מאחר השפשוף שלהם על איחור לא היווה לו נעורים בכלל, נתן חיוך עצלאי מזוויק, הוציא את שטיח היוגה שלו מהתיק ואמר: "יש לנו כמה דקות עד שהשיעור מתחיל, לא?
En: Then, a miracle happened: Israeli Moses, who usually had no sympathy for their punctuality complaints, gave a lazy smile, took out his yoga mat from his bag, and said, "We have a few minutes until the class starts, right?"

He: "אברהם ורחל החליפו מבטי תדהמה.
En: Abraham and Rachel exchanged looks of astonishment.

He: כאשר הכילו את התיישבותם עם ההוראה החדשה, אברהם נשא גבו, רחל חייכה, והשלושה זעזעו את החול מקפיציהם והצעדו לכיוון החדר הגדול שבו מתקיים השיעור.
En: As they reconciled themselves with the new instruction, Abraham straightened up, Rachel smiled, and the three shook the sand off their feet and walked towards the large room where the class was held.
