The most remarkable season in West Virginia baseball history added another unforgettable chapter Monday night when the Mountaineers outlasted Kentucky in extra innings to capture the NCAA Regional Championship.
The victory capped a four-day test of endurance, resilience, and belief. Facing elimination and mounting pressure, WVU answered every challenge with three consecutive wins in the most dramatic fashion imaginable.
