Welcome to 4th Period U.S. History or more lovingly called 4Push. This class explores the histories and experiences of the United States from its should be rightful origins in 1676, to the time that men got off their collective asses and gave women their due rights and the vote. This class will explore the single driving line of US History, slavery. It will cover the foundations of its government and how it should be represented, as well as, show you where real power lies according to the documents our Founding Fathers inked out oh so long ago and so many other topics in between. This class will peak in the dark areas, and turn over the facts you may not have heard of in your previous history learnings. Come to be challenged. Come learn about your REAL heritage, not to be afraid of it even if it's scary and gross,, but own it, to better serve your fellow countryfolk moving forward with understanding, kindness, and love. Well Benjamin Franklin ain't having none of it! Today we look at the "plight" of the new budding American Colonist, cause they've always been colonist, now they are starting to see things a bit differently. There's conflict a brewing because if the English and their compatriots are good at anything, its pissing other folks off and starting wars. Well....with the help of good ole Benny Franks, let's start a war!!!

20 OCT 2022 · We are building the foundations of what will become America and of course to do that we have to talk about one of the main ingredients......slavery. One part democracy, one part freedom, and one part slavery and you got yourself an American pie.
In today's class we begin to classify the timeline of slavery in the colonies and how its acceptance would lay the foundation for what slavery and ultimately America will become. As stated in previous episodes, this is where BLM begins and why it matters so much!

Well anyways, ever wonder why the Brits came to the East coast? Ever wonder why they did not go further west to all that sweet sweet land out there, aside from the fact they knew next to nothing about it or that millions people already lived there..... Ever wonder what the Colonist actually made and produced for money and what their economy looked like? Well do I have an exciting class for you!
No, but for real, today's class is a walk through the geography of the 13 colonies and why the British choose them and not to advance more inland, aside from obvious transportation and shipping routes, and we are going to cover what those colonies were producing as we set up the foundations of what will eventually become the United States.

You're smart and you learned that during the time of the English Colonies black land owners had servants and slaves so why did it all just go slavery? In today's class we will explore the "reasons" for Bacon's rebellion against the Crown in Jametown Colony, and how this was actually a larger attack on how rich colonist supplied their labor. During these early years before the Revolution of 1776 there were differing ways to makes sure that labor was done and the fields were planted. One costs something, the other just costs humans lives. If not, you might as well stay and learn something cool! This is a course covering early American History. This is the time from 1676-to 1930 and then some. This course does not shy away from facts, or those dark parts of history folks do not like to see. To understand the full scope of your past you must be willing to upturn every stone, regardless of what you find underneath. I work to make sure that all people of all background and beliefs are comfortable in my class, but be aware I take the side of people, planet, love, and health ever time, and will do so for you as well. So if you are wondering how we got to the state of the country we are in today, with fear and anger, then come listen and learn, and take what you hear into the world and be the change you think you can be or some stuff like that. I do not know. I just teach the stuff....
