Smith, founder of Go With the Flow Enterprise, Inc. 14 MAR 2025 · In this Weeks Around The Cracker Barrel, Host Guy Atchley talks with Tubac Rotary Club author Bud Eckhart and Doctor Monte Moore about the upcoming sold out Taste Of Tubac. The Annual Popularity of the event is driving by attending restaurants for great food and entertainment provided by the Anthony Taylor Jr. Band. One of the first restaurants on board was Wisdoms and has continued to participate over the years. Bud tells us that 530 Tickets were sold for this years event.
Bud and Monte share the Fundraising Aspects of the Tubac Rotary Club and explain that 70% of what they do goes to youth with the Amado Youth Center in Amado and Andrews Clinic with the Cleft Palate program. Another organization which benefits from the Tubac Rotary Club Fundraiser is the Sahuarita and Amado Food Bank. We also learn about ShelterBox, Bud explains how this program works for those displaced from homes.

28 FEB 2025 · On this Week's Episode of Around the Cracker Barrel, Host Guy Atchley welcomes guests from La Posada, Vicki Roy Administrative Assistant at La Posada Community Services talks about a great event coming in June, the celebrations of the Centenrians, those turning 100. Paul Loomins, The Senior Vice President Chief Marketing Officer also talks about this event. Paul and Vicki discussed about upwards of 10 centenerians which live within the La Posada Campus.
We also learn more about the Concerts for a Better Community which take place on Saturdays from 1p-3p, The Concerts are Free however donations are always welcome. This can help with the Senior Hot Lunch Program and other programs under Community Services.
Paul talks with Guy about the Celebration of Pets at La Posada and what are the guidelines for Pets at the campus.
The Mission for La Posada Communities is to maximize the well being of seniors.

21 FEB 2025 · On this week’s Around the Cracker Barrel, host Guy Atchley welcomes Greater Green Valley Health Education Association board members Ellen March, Sandy Wahl, and Cynthia Valencia to discuss the upcoming Green Valley Health Fair on Monday, March 3rd, at the GVR West Center.
Sandy discusses the origins and goals of GGVHEA, and the guests outline the variety of health tests available at the fair, provided by Southern Arizona’s top health organizations.
Each the Board Members is activly involved in the Community and were invited to also tell us about there various projects. Sandy Wahl of La Posada shares details about an Open House at La Posada on February 28th, while Cynthia Valencia of Silver Springs highlights their March 1st Open House from 10 AM to 1 PM. Ellen also talks about the benefits of gardening and her company, Native Gardens.

14 FEB 2025 · Joining Guy Atchley on this week’s Around the Cracker Barrel was Nick McLain, Green Valley Recreation’s "Cruise Director" of Fun, Events, and Entertainment.
Nick shared the many exciting programs and amenities available to GVR members across 13 clubs in Green Valley. He highlighted upcoming entertainment, including a I Love Lucy-themed dinner show and a Reba tribute featuring Corrie Sachs on the 27th. Other performances include a tribute to CCR and ventriloquist Todd Oliver with his dog, Irving.

7 FEB 2025 · On this week's Around the Cracker Barrel, host Guy Atchley welcomed John Wynne and Nicole Raymond, co-chairs of the Valle Verde Rotary Club, to discuss the upcoming Jazz in the Desert program.
What started as a simple pizza fundraiser has grown into a highly anticipated annual event, bringing the community together to celebrate music and support local schools.
This year's Jazz in the Desert concert will take place on March 1st at the Quail Creek Madera Clubhouse, featuring two performances—a Matinee at 12:15 PM and a Dinner Show at 5:30 PM. While the Dinner Show is already sold out, tickets for the Matinee are still available. They can be purchased online at VVRotaryFoundation.net or at the door, while supplies last.
In addition to an incredible lineup of talented musicians from local schools—including Sahuarita Middle School and Continental School—the event will feature a silent auction and a raffle with generous donations from local businesses and community members.
Proceeds from the concert will directly support school music programs and other Valle Verde Rotary initiatives.

31 JAN 2025 · For this Weeks Around the Cracker Barrel Broadcast Guy Atchley welcomes both Christina Collett and Angela Wilson of the University of Arizona's Master Gardeners in Green Valley. They share the origins of the Master Gardener Program and how the Cooperative Program within the UofA is managed.
We also learn of some tips in managing flora and fauna in the colder Winter Months. How often should you water and how important is it for Ground Saturation. One program that has become very popular is a Veterans Program where fellow Veterans get together to plant and manage orchids and gardens. Great questions answered even when geared at the Newbies, What are good plants to start with!?
The Master Gardeners are located at 520 East Whitehouse Canyon Road and open Mon, Wed and Friday 9am-12pm and can be reached by calling Cassie Burruel at 520-640-0808.
