इस यज्ञ से पाकशाला की वायु शुद्ध होती है। भूत समस्त जीवों शरीरधारी और अशरीरी की तुष्टि होती है। सभी देव और पितरों भी संतुष्ट रहते हैं। आहुति द्वारा भोजन के संस्कारित होने पर भोजन प्रसाद बन जाता है। इस अन्न को खाने वाले की बुद्धि निर्मल तथा तन और मन स्वस्थ बनते हैं।
