Even though death is a powerful enemy, it is not possible for death to hold Christ (Act. 2:24). Jesus’ death has caused death itself to die. By Christ’s death, death itself is forever swallowed up in Resurrection victory (1 Co. 15:54).

From a human standpoint, the crucifixion is utterly unjust, but in the cosmic view of things, God accomplishes the greatest act of justice ever. Justice is Jesus redeeming and claiming what belongs to Him. That’s you.

Jesus is the True Vine; His Father is the Vinedresser; we are the branches. Being pruned hurts, but every cut is purposeful, and Christ feels it with us. Abide in Him and bear fruit that lasts.
