Christen brown Santa Barbara is a successful media coach and author who grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Christen earned a B.A from Marietta College, a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Boston University, and spent a post-graduate year studying psychology at the University of San Francisco. She worked as a psychologist before becoming an on-air TV interviewer for Odyssey, a KNBC-LA Sunday magazine show. She also worked as a radio commentator for Westwood One.
Combining her background in psychology with her on-air media experience, in 1978 Christen founded America’s first media training company.
On Camera’s media and speech coaches have helped thousands of executives, lawyers, authors, physicians, entertainers, and athletes sharpen their presentation skills and prepare for interviews on radio, television, and in print media.
