4 APR 2020 · In an effort to expond on my own life interests and activities, I wanted to talk about "magic" and "magick." As someone deeply involved in both of these things, there are some misconceptions that should be cleared up. While most focus on the differences and distinctions between these two practices, I am going to take the time to explain how they are in fact directly related and practitioners of one is well advised to get to know the other.
And please forgive my cat in the background. He has no respect for my work.
30 DEC 2017 · Taking a darker turn, in this episode I talk about the infamous "suicide forest" in Japan. I will give a quick history behind it, the culture of suicide that is involved with it, and its possible connection to spirit activity. Also, I want to tell you all about another spot that is less known but just as important in Okinawa. There you will find the "suicide cliffs" used in lieu of surrender during WWII. 9 DEC 2017 · This should be my final episode regarding season 2 of Asia's Got Talent where I will give my review of how the show, season, and individual acts went. I want to break down my opinions of this most excellent variety show and even giver some constructive criticisms that I am sure will go nowhere but hey, it's my podcast so I get to do that. 2 DEC 2017 · In this episode, I go over some of the strange things associated with some of Japan's greatest disasters. Namely, the dark events of Hiroshima, Nagasaki, and Fukushima. We all know the tragedies that occurred in these places but there is more to the story than just the events themselves. Strange and unexplained experiences have been reported and recorded in these areas of ghostly and extraterrestrial natures. I will tell you about some of these stories and offer a few ideas about what could be behind them.

24 NOV 2017 · In this episode, I talk a bit about my work as a professional mentalist/magician and how it relates to entertainment in the far East. Of particular interest is my taste in magic and variety entertainment. A great illustration can be seen in one of the current talent shows, "Asia's Got Talent" in one of my favorite new acts (the Sacred Riana) as well as my least favorite (Aikira Kimura). I will also tell you how to find good live variety, magical entertainment here in Japan yourself by breaking down "magic bars" and how they work. So sit back, relax, and enjoy some magic!
19 NOV 2017 · On this episode, I want to tell you about the town of Shimonoseki in Yamaguchi prefecture. It has a lot of history behind it to include a famous duel between two of the greatest swordsmen of all time as well as the site of an infamous ghost story. I will relate to you the tale of "Hoichi the Earless" that made a name for this small city and what you can still see today. Oh, and they also have a big aquarium too. It's a lot of fun!
