Khali Zabian was a freshman at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University to be enrolled in the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps. When she went home for the summer of her freshman year, her life changed forever. A car accident left Khali with a severe traumatic brain injury.

Parenting comes with many blessings of love and joy and just like any other part of life, it also comes with heartache and pain. On this Dela's Voice Sunday Live Talk Show, we are speaking with a parent who has learned to extract love and joy even in the midst of what most may call a challenging parenting experience.
Andrew Lund is a husband and the father of three wonderful children, the youngest of whom was born with a rare genetic disorder called Pfieffer Syndrome. While navigating parenthood and the challenges that accompany raising a medically fragile child, he enjoys reflecting on how his children have changed his outlook on life. Outside of parenting, Andrew owns and operates two private preschools in Central Florida.
"Grieving the life you thought you would have and accepting the life you have been gifted", Andrew says has been the biggest struggle he had to overcome.

When she was given less than 1% chance to recover, Brisa Alfaro refused to give in. She was committed to recover from the stroke that had taken away her livelihood. With resilience, hard work and commitment, Brisa recovered one tiny step at a time and today she helps others do the same.
Brisa was a successful entrepreneur and beauty educator and traveling Nationwide with for the beauty industry. She loved working different events and even developed relationships with celebrity clients. While in NY and at the height of her career, her life was turned upside down due to surviving a rare Pons Stroke resulting in “Locked in Syndrome.”
Brisa defied all odds and went on to share her story in many different ways. She became a #1 International Bestselling Author, has shared it with media such as The Washington Post, Woman’s World Magazine, on national television, as well as different podcasts and interviews.
