It's often said that some of the most profound and spiritual conversations of our lives take place not in the chapels and sanctuaries of our communities, but in the foyers just outside the venue. It's in these sacred adjacent venues where many of us dark sheep feel brave enough to ask the difficult questions, the "what if's", and what else is possible –– the conversations that would be considered heresy, blasphemy or downright too kinky for the pulpit.
Foyer Chats is a podcast where we bring together religious leaders, musicians, performers, community leaders, organizers and everyday people who are brave enough to just go wherever the conversation takes us, as we discuss and explore the sacred space where anything is possible.

18 OCT 2020 · On this episode of Foyer Chat Drew the Fairy God Bro is joined in the foyer by former candidate for Utah Governor Zachary Moses and Kate Borg as they discuss queer identity, the many closets they've lived in, and the lasting damage such closets cause for members of the LGBTQ+ community. The Trio of Chill will use their inappropriate humor, sarcasm and whit to make a normally difficult topic easier to experience. Hopefully you'll laugh, get offended and learn something. Come hang out with us in the foyer.
12 JUL 2020 · Drew hangs out in the Foyer with Rachelle and Christine for some deep conversations and thought!
30 JUN 2020 · (6/21/20) During our continued COVID stay at home existence, Comic Church brings back the ole Foyer Chats! Drew Reese and Kate Borg are joined by Rachelle Elizebeth for an interesting discussion. It's been a crazy last few weeks, between the social justice revolution, tick-tock kids trolling the President, Drew getting skin cancer and how a "Disney Princess Theology" messing up our ability to properly "lens" ourself in literature, film, and mythology and Real Life? Are we all Frodo or Luke Skywalker or Princess Jasmine? Living as the main star and hero of our own Hero's Journey? Are we brave enough to consider ourselves maybe a Pippin or BB8 at best? Is it ok to be a supporting character? Taking it even further, are we brave enough to recognize we might be playing the role of the villain – even thought we start out with best intentions? Has the mission creep of your Hero's journey slowly transformed you from an Aurora to Maleficent without you even noticing? There is so much to break down on this topic, I hope you'll join us in the foyer for Foyer Chats as we give it a try.
