14 APR 2026 · On this episode of Generally Irritable, Ericka Redic sits down with Tony Canterino, the incoming Bell County Republican Party Chair, on the night of the Republican primary elections. As results roll in, they discuss what the outcomes mean for the party, the importance of keeping candidates engaged even after a loss, and how local leadership can build unity across different factions within the Republican Party.
Ericka and Tony also dive into the realities of local and state politics—from the challenges of career politicians and term limits to the surprisingly low pay for Texas state lawmakers. The conversation touches on political messaging, voter engagement, and why respect, civility, and participation matter if a party wants to grow. It’s a candid election-night conversation about the future of local politics, the role of grassroots leadership, and why showing up to vote still matters. Support us! 12 APR 2026 · In this unapologetically fiery episode of The Generally Irritable Show, Ericka Redic and the crew rip into what they see as Hollywood’s growing disconnect from reality—and the audience. Sparked by early reactions to Supergirl and the surrounding controversy, this conversation spirals into something much bigger: entitlement in entertainment, the collapse of major franchises, and why fans are no longer playing along.
From baiting audiences to blaming them, to rewriting beloved IPs and expecting loyalty anyway—nothing is off-limits. This episode blends humor, frustration, and sharp commentary as the hosts break down why audiences are walking away—and what creators should actually be doing instead.
It’s part rant, part reality check, and part rally cry for supporting independent creators who still understand one simple thing: you have to earn attention. If you’ve ever felt like Hollywood stopped listening… this one’s for you.

17 OCT 2025 · The Generally Irritable with Ericka Redic - We're Back! Travel and UpdatesIn this lively return episode of The Generally Irritable with Ericka Redic, Ericka and her co-host Benjamin dive into a candid discussion after a hiatus from content creation. Ericka shares why she stepped back, focusing on growing her business in Texas after her 2022 congressional campaign. Now with six employees, she reflects on the challenges of self-employment and her desire to provide for her family while avoiding the trap of becoming just another social media talking head.
The conversation turns to the current political and cultural climate, with Ericka and Benjamin emphasizing the need for sane, reasonable voices amid rising division and chaos. They discuss the influence of psychological operations (psyops) fueling societal tensions and urge listeners to focus on faith and sharing the gospel rather than anger or revenge. Ericka stresses the importance of identity, belonging, and purpose, encouraging Christians to reach out with love to those seeking answers, rather than adding to the noise of hate and division.Exciting news is shared about an upcoming trip to Israel as part of a delegation of state representatives and senators. Ericka and Benjamin aim to gain firsthand experience to better understand the region’s conflicts and bring informed perspectives to their audience.
They also touch on their commitment to avoiding unverified narratives, referencing past efforts like visiting the U.S. border to report with clarity. The episode concludes with a passionate discussion on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, where Ericka and Benjamin condemn terrorism, particularly Hamas’s tactics, while advocating for peace and understanding. They call for discernment, urging listeners to reject hate, embrace faith, and engage in meaningful dialogue. With energy and humor, they wrap up with a blunt yet heartfelt message: “Go make disciples. Don’t be an asshole." Support us!
