14 DEC 2025 · The GURU isn't happy in this episode. The situation with former Michigan Head Coach Sherrone Moore is a tragedy. It's no laughing matter when someone has a mental health issue. No jokes can be mentioned in this situation. The University had a problem that they should have taken care of a while ago, but this situation came down to this. As a Buckeye, we are NOT LAUGHING AND JOKING! I stand behind our rival, and hope they can rebound from this tragic situation. The GURU is happy with the results of the NAVY- ARMY game. A one-point victory is great, even though I wanted to turn off the game when the NAVY was loosing. The CFP field is set. The Buckeyes are the 2 seed. Fernando Mendoza won the Heisman Trophy, and his speech was one that could be the greatest ever. Phillip Rivers is playing again? Plus confidence picks for Week 15 in the NFL. 7 DEC 2025 · Congratulations to the Indiana Hoosiers, the champs of the Big 10. It's no joke, for the first time in over 50 years, they beat the Ohio State Buckeyes, 13-10. The rise of the Hoosiers is just remarkable. Goodbye Alabama, BYU, and Duke. At least Duke can call themselves a champion without going to the playoffs, with five losses, make it make sense! FIRE MIKE TOMLIN? What the hell is Pittsburgh thinking? We have to say goodbye to Elden Campbell, a great Laker, who left us this week. The 2191 day nightmare for the Ohio State Buckeyes is OVER! Ohio State beat Michigan for the first time since 2019. There will not be a big celebration for this win. The work is just being for the Buckeyes, as they prepare for the Indiana Hoosiers, in the Big 10 Championship game next week. Lane Kiffin is heading to LSU. This is really messed up for the Ole Miss Rebels. After leading them to their best record in the school's history. We had to say goodbye to Jimmy Cliff, Viola Fletcher, and Fuzzy Zoeller. 2 NOV 2025 · What a classic World Series game, what a way to end the season with two key home runs by Miguel Rojas and Wil Smith gave the Los Angeles Dodgers their first back to back world championship. The 2025 baseball season will always be remembered for this classic game seven. Yamamoto, just pitched in game six, came back to pitch three innings in game seven. He won three games and was awarded the series MVP. The Dodgers win reminded me of the Arizona Diamondbacks win in 2001, the Toronto win in 1993, and the greatest World Series game six in 1975 when Carlton Fisk's dramatic home run. 26 OCT 2025 · Were you shocked by the news of sports and gambling this week in the NBA? I'm sure that this isn't a surprise. The long history of gambling in sports isn't anything new. The Mob has and will always have a hand in sports. Chancey Billups, Terry Roizer, and Damon Jones were arrested this week, in a on-going investigation by the NBA and the FBI. This will go on until the end of time. I'm not shocked at all. The World Series finally got started this week between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Toronto Blue Jays. The series is even, after the Dodgers beat the Jays in Toronto, 5-1. The series heads to Los Angeles for the next three games. Thanks for listening and enjoy the rest of your Sports Weekend. JP, Steve, Jason and Dan had a great time with some laughs and some very bad golf swings by the GURU. Thank you guys for a great conversation and time. The Los Angeles Dodgers are World Series bound, thanks to the outstanding play by Shohei Ohtani. Three home runs are amazing, but the pitch in the same game is truly unbelievable. Don't forget, the NBA returns this week. The OKC Thunder will start the season as the defending World Champs.
