Kingdom Influence Media was created by influencer J. Renae Stevens, better known online as Ya Girl Renae, along with seven journalists who previously worked for mainstream media organizations. Together, they envisioned a platform where conversations could take place without being buried by algorithms or overshadowed by large corporations. Their goal was to create a community that encourages thoughtful discussion while allowing people from different backgrounds to express their opinions respectfully. Unlike many social media websites that prioritize short videos or trending content, Kingdom Influence Media focuses on meaningful conversations. Members can write detailed articles, share local news, discuss true crime, talk about current events, review products, debate political issues, discuss religion, and even participate in neighborhood conversations. This wide variety of content gives users a reason to return because there is always something new to read or discuss.

27 SEP 2026 · Today I’ve been thinking about how easily we can lose sight of what God has called us to do. Sometimes the distraction is a situation that takes up all our thoughts. Sometimes it is the pressure to keep explaining ourselves to people around us. And sometimes it is a relationship we keep trying to carry into a season where it no longer belongs. When our attention stays fixed on who is with us, who left us, or who disappointed us, we can miss the work God has placed right in front of us.Jesus’ choice of the twelve disciples makes me think about this differently. Luke tells us that Jesus prayed before choosing them, and Judas Iscariot was among those he chose (Luke 6:12–16). These were the people who would walk closely with him, hear his teaching, and witness his ministry.
Yet being chosen to walk with Jesus did not mean each person would respond faithfully. They were human beings who still had choices to make.Judas is the painful example. He had a place among the twelve, but he went to the chief priests and agreed to hand Jesus over for thirty pieces of silver (Matthew 26:14–16). Judas’ betrayal was his own decision. Still, it did not stop Jesus from carrying out what he had come to do. That speaks to me because we often give another person’s actions too much power over our purpose. Betrayal can hurt deeply, and it deserves to be taken seriously, but someone else’s choice does not get to decide whether we remain faithful to God.
I believe there is a lesson here about the people who walk beside us. Someone may be part of one season of our lives without being meant to accompany us through every season. We do not have to turn every ending into a battle or label every person who leaves as a Judas. Some relationships change because people make different choices, grow in different directions, or cannot walk with us in the way we need. We can acknowledge the hurt, learn from what happened, and still ask God how to move forward with wisdom. That is also why I am asking myself whether the thing consuming my attention deserves as much of it as I have given it.
Am I so focused on keeping someone in my corner that I have stopped listening to God? Am I rehearsing a disappointment over and over while neglecting the people I can serve today? Those are hard questions, especially when the relationship mattered. But they can help us see when pain has become a distraction from the life we are called to live.If someone cannot go farther with you, pray for the wisdom to accept what is true without letting bitterness take root. Grieve what needs to be grieved. Set the boundaries you need. Then keep your heart open to the work God is doing in you and through you. Jesus continued his mission even though one of the people closest to him betrayed him. We can keep following him, too, one faithful step at a time.Have you ever realized that a relationship or a painful situation was taking your attention away from what God was asking you to do?

26 SEP 2026 · Sometimes You Can’t Speak—So Write: Why God’s Message Must Keep GoingThere was something placed heavily on my heart this morning about the importance of communication, especially when it comes to the Word of God. We often put tremendous emphasis on the person standing in front of a congregation, holding a microphone, preaching a sermon, teaching a lesson, or verbally telling people what God has done. There is certainly power in speaking, but I believe we sometimes overlook something equally important: somebody has to write it down. A spoken message can reach the people who are present to hear it, but a written message can travel beyond the room, beyond the city, beyond the lifetime of the person who originally delivered it, and even beyond the generation in which it was first spoken. When we look throughout the Bible, we discover that God did not depend on only one method of communication. There were prophets who spoke, teachers who taught, witnesses who testified, people who sang, and people who wrote. God understood something that we sometimes forget: human beings do not remain on this earth forever. The people who witnessed extraordinary events would eventually die. Their voices would eventually become silent. The people who physically walked alongside Jesus would not always be available to sit down with the next generation and personally explain everything they had seen. If the testimony was going to continue reaching people, there needed to be a way for the message to remain after the messenger was gone. Writing became one of the ways testimony could survive time. There are several places in Scripture where writing itself becomes part of the assignment. Habakkuk 2:2 says, “Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” Jeremiah 36:2 records God instructing Jeremiah to take a scroll and write the words that had been spoken to him. Revelation 1:19 similarly contains the instruction to John to write what he had seen. These passages show that recording information was not treated as an insignificant task. There were things that needed to move from the spoken moment into a form that could be preserved, read, revisited, copied, taught, and passed forward.God Didn't Only Tell People to Speak—He Told People to Write Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/kingdom-influence-media--6649722/support.

25 SEP 2026 · Okay, Red Lobster, we need to have a conversation, because I genuinely want to know what happened. And I'm not coming into this as somebody who has always disliked the restaurant. It's actually the complete opposite. I used to love Red Lobster. Back in the day, Red Lobster was one of those restaurants where going there actually felt like you were going somewhere. You could go after homecoming, prom, on a date, with family, or for a celebration, and getting seafood at Red Lobster felt like a treat. That's exactly why my recent experience was so disappointing. I'm comparing today's experience with a restaurant I actually remember enjoying. My biggest issue isn't necessarily the price. I'll pay for good food. If you give me something that tastes fresh, has good flavor, is prepared properly, and looks reasonably close to what you advertised, I don't mind spending money on it. My problem is paying restaurant prices and getting something that leaves me wondering whether I could have gotten a similar experience from the frozen-food aisle. That's where Red Lobster lost me during this particular visit.

22 SEP 2026 · Let’s talk about the ethics complaint involving Rep. Lauren Boebert. A complaint filed on September 17 alleges that she had sexual relationships with three staff members she supervised. It also raises questions about staff and campaign payments, including an alleged $200,000 payment. Those are serious accusations, especially when public funds and the power a member of Congress holds over employees are part of the story. But a filed complaint is not a finding of guilt. Boebert says the allegations are false, and one of the former staff members named in the complaint has denied the claims about her. The records and photos included with the complaint may show employment, payments, and people appearing together. They do not, on their own, prove a sexual relationship or explain why a payment was made. If we’re going to demand honesty from public officials, we need to be just as honest about what the evidence shows. 20 SEP 2026 · Okay, y’all, I had to come on here and talk about this because the situation between Dorit Kemsley and PK Kemsley is getting messier by the minute. If you watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, then you already know their divorce has not exactly been peaceful, and their finances and Encino home have become a huge part of the battle. Now there is another development, and when I read it, I said, wait a minute—PK did WHAT? According to a September 18 report from Reality Blurb, a company controlled by PK purchased the second deed of trust connected to the couple's home for $950,000. Attorney Ronald Richards, whose comments were cited in the report, said the amount currently owed on that note is more than $1.2 million. Richards claims the move puts PK in a position to collect what he's owed ahead of Dorit and could ultimately leave her with nothing from the home's sale. 20 SEP 2026 · The world now has seen a man who has spent the last few years coaching and speaking to people about relationships. We’ve heard him talk about how a man is supposed to treat a woman, respect a woman, provide for his woman and stop being a bum in a relationship. He has had A LOT to say about what men need to do to make relationships work. Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/kingdom-influence-media--6649722/support.

18 SEP 2026 · Jesus loved people enough to be wounded by people. He experienced rejection, betrayal, humiliation, abandonment, and physical suffering, yet He remained committed to the Father's will. Think about that. His wounds did not mean He had failed. His wounds showed just how far His obedience, sacrifice, and love went.
