12 JUN 2022 · Imagine a fun night out in a trendy gay bar in San Francisco in 1974. You feel a freedom to be yourself in a place where you belong, surrounded by others who understand and support you. Then a handsome stranger approaches you and introduces himself as a cartoonist. He says he’s noticed you from across the room and hands you a little portrait he made of you on a napkin. You’re swooned, and you enjoy some drinks and dancing with your new friend before he finally convinces you to go somewhere more private. It’s not until your body is found buried in the brush that you realize you’ve come to lovers lane with a serial killer. This is the case of the unsolved murders of Gerald Cavanaugh, Joseph Jae Stevens, Klaus Christmann, Frederick Capin, Harald Gullberg, Warren Andrews, and the other unnamed victims of The Doodler Killer. Listener discretion is advised.
Investigators believe that the killer may still be living as an openly gay man in the San Fransisco Bay Area, never having faced justice. Please take a look at and distribute the updated aged sketch.
