20 NOV 2021 · Waswahili husema dalili ya Mvua ni mawingu. Uchecked desires can burn things. A lot of our love relationships go wrong because we are seduced and enticed by impulses that become snares. Passions and unguarded appetites can keep us in a state of chasing shadows. It is important that we are aware of the things we crave for and always keep watch lest our hearts deceive us. In this episode I talk about how the things we yearn for can be bad for us and what to do when you find yourself in a trap that you led yourself into. Every desire starts small like a seed that grows into a tree, what you feed grows and you cannot fight an enemy you can't see.
Before I go I have to share this conversation I heard where a husband was talking about his wife and he said that he loved his wife more now than he did when they were getting married. Point is: love grows too and it's beautiful when it does.

15 AUG 2021 · Standards are great things to have. It's a way to plan ahead when you are thinking relationship, particularly in the long term. It can be tricky and confusing if you don't search yourself and identify what really matters to you. We live in a world full of opinions, it can get loud and very distracting and voices in our heads don't easily let up. Stay focused on you, don't let your past limit you, shut out all the voices that say you aren't good enough, keep working on yourself. Be kind to you, mistakes will happen it doesn't mean you don't have what it takes,forgive yourself, build your strength up brick by brick, you deserve the good kind of love don't settle for less.Our Standards are not meant to be the lens through which we judge or label others, they are simply guides to help us walk our journey the best we can. Lets focus on removing the logs in our eyes before we make the speck of sawdust in some else's eyes our business. Here's the link to my walking your journey article

27 JUN 2021 · Dear men, everyone deserves the good kind of love.Its okay to feel alone just don't get comfortable in that place.Equip yourself with what you need so you are competent enough to find your companion and when you find her protect her with your life, she is a good thing! Companionship is like a jigsaw puzzle,only specific pieces fit each other. Words refused to come out at some point but si we push through ama? 😊

Clarity is a game changer. I am not one for lists to be honest, there's so much more to a human and lists can hardly contain the realities of life. However, I believe that we all need to be clear on exactly what we are looking for in potential partners. We should be able to describe if nothing at all our non negotiables, our deal breakers. That in my opinion demonstrates self awareness and knowledge of one's self worth. Knowing what you really want helps us set standards then we can as much as possible save time, avoid heart aches and disappointments. I talk about having a partner that's not easy to replace. It's funny how love works, before you meet some people you are okay and then you meet them and now you can't imagine living without them. I have found in my experience that the easiest people to replace are the inauthentic ones. Those that don't know their worth and are always trying to be someone they are not and those who don't care to want to be better, they want to stay stuck in the past. So let's go out there and be irreplaceable, be unforgettable, be you! Happy listening, till next podcast, 😘
