23 NOV 2021 · In our final episode of the Ma & Morley podcast, we listen in on a conversation between two scholars from Central Western New South Wales. Kayden Roberts-Barker and Sophie Welsh. The pair share their experiences growing up in rural Australia including why they love the country and also what are some of the challenges along the way. The dynamic duo provides a rich insight into how the scholarship program and how it has impacted them, particularly regarding leadership.

30 SEP 2021 · In episode 4, we have the pleasure to share a conversation between Ma & Morley Scholars and good friends Mitch Stanford and Yazmin Penn. Before coming to university, the pair have had a wealth of experiences and it shows in their conversation as they share stories of formative experiences, what they do to stay healthy during Covid lockdowns and their thoughts on how they can better support others in their community. Since meeting earlier this year at the Welcome Event, the pair became fast friends and quickly became inseparable in their first-year medicine classes, attending Ma & Morley events and enjoying life as university students. In their discussion, the pair share part of their personal stories before coming to university, their hopes as future doctors and rich insights into the Ma & Morley application process and what values are most important to them.
