Welcome to Philly Wine Talk with the Philly Wine Guy I’m your host Rodney Chonka. In this podcast we’ll talk about everything wine, with noted experts and professionals from the Philadelphia area, but there will be no geographical limits on the wines, wineries, wine regions, varietals, chateaux, cantinas, quintas, adegas or bodegas that we discuss. Indeed, the world is our playground when it comes to wine, so whether you’re just starting to get into wine or a long time connoisseur there’s something for you. We’ll delve into the joys of wine tasting, collecting, shopping, and touring and do our best to burst the bubble of the often snobbish, snooty and elitist nature of wine culture. We’ll offer tips, recommendations and advice on selecting wines as well as personal stories, anecdotes and an insider’s guide to trends and topics in the wine industry. So sit back, relax, pour yourself a glass of vino and join us for a lively discussion of one of life’s greatest pleasures.

Mary Lou and I are former colleagues from the publishing and information science industry, and many years ago she left the business to do a deep dive into the wine world.
