5 FEB 2019 · Bukit Tinggi is a city up in the mountains of southern Sumatra. I had a wonderful holiday there . . but travelling on the ancient public busses was a bone-jarring experience!
4 FEB 2019 · One of my favourite drama warm-up activities was to pass an object (eg an umbrella) around the circle and invite participants to explore playing with the object as something else, not as it was intended (eg the umbrella as a rifle, hockey stick, ear cleaner, javelin or . . . This poem was inspired by this play actiivity.

When he died in 2012, there were no more Abingdon Saddlebacks to be found anywhere in our world, and all you can do now is look at the photos of their massively magnificent shells.
