18 NOV 2024 · So I'm on Spreaker now. Who knew? When I started podcasting around ten years ago there weren't too many people doing it. Now everyone has a podcast. With blogtalkradio shutting down in January 25, I thought I'd jump ship and move everything over here. So, this is my first podcast specifically recorded for Spreaker. This one's short. I assure you the rest will not be. I talk about everything from life, love, spiritualty and being a good person to animal rescue, domestic violence and how to recover from not-so-good people.

Being a child of parents who migrated to the northern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia in the late 1960s/early 1970s, she was exposed to bullying and hardships. However, she was blessed to have had parents that made significant sacrifices for the benefit of their children. They had big dreams for her and as a result, she became a dreamer as a child. Dreaming became an escape from the bitter tongues around her growing up. She would dream about becoming an international author and leader. 8 MAR 2024 · Why are people mean? Why intentionally set out to hurt someone? We're all doing our best right now so don't be a mean jerk. Seriously. There is no need to make angry, hateful comments on any social media post you don't agree with. It makes you look like a bully and a huge jerk and honestly your comments actually help the content you are so vehemently against. Just stop. We need to treat each other respectfully even when we don't agree. There is no glory in tearing down a stranger because they have expressed an opinion different than yours.

Not religious, in fact many people who have been abused have actually sought help from churches only to be turned away. Still once you've come through a particular nasty event spirituality almost finds you.

Yes, I realize many people use expensive microphones, cameras, lights...all of that stuff. But you don't need those. The world needs all the positive vibes it can get right now, so if you've been sitting on a book, podcast, video series, or anything else now is the time.

It seems like everyone is going through something right now, whether you are an abuse survivor, or you're grieving or have had a bad break-up or whatever. So just be kind to everyone. It doesn't matter if you like them, agree with them or not. Just be kind. Really.
