25 MAR 2023 · In this episode of our podcast Jamie speaks with Gina who lives on a native reservation in South Dakota USA. Gina has dealt with trauma & PTSD her whole life. From childhood trauma to trauma in the military, Gina has seen so much. But she faces her PTSD head on & tells us about the things she does that helps her deal with her PTSD. From life on the reservation, to life in the military, to family life, Gina tells it all and we know her story will inspire many.
24 JAN 2023 · In this episode Jamie chats with Janis from Canada. Join him as he has a very frank conversation with Janis, who after 18 years of policing, was diagnosed with PTSD and told by her psychologist that she could not be a police officer anymore. With a loss of purpose and identity, Janis was adrift until she literally moved onto a boat and started two Youtube Channels. One channel is called Onboard Tangaroa and is all about living on a boat in British Columbia and the other is about Janis’ journey with PTSD. This channel is called Finding My Happy. That is exactly what Janis is trying to do after her PTSD diagnosis. She is trying to find her happy by sharing her PTSD journey, the ups and the downs, and laughing all the way. Janis has also just started the Live Your Life Adventure Challenge to encourage others to step out of their comfort zones, try new things, and live their life.

28 NOV 2022 · Jamie has a PTSD Buddy Chat with Heather and she tells an incredible story and she doesn't hold back on the details so trigger warning. She starts her story at the age of five where she was being sexually abused by her father. Then when telling her mother about it, her mom not believing her and beating her. Then her story goes on to being kidnapped and held prisoner. Spending time in jail. To being a great mother. Heather tells an amazing story of survival and we know that her story will inspire others.

Years ago Jason was in a very bad car accident and it has left Jason with PTSD. Jason takes us through that day of the accident so trigger warning to anyone that feel they may be triggered by such a story. He also talks about the PTSD symptoms he now deals with because of this trauma. But he is beating his PTSD and he shares with us some of the things he does to beat PTSD. One of those things is helping others and Jason says he is here to help anyone dealing with PTSD.

19 NOV 2022 · Jamie has a PTSD Buddy Chat with Mike as he shares with Jamie and us his incredible story of how PTSD came into his life but how he is beating it. Mike is a veteran and while he was serving he was sexually assaulted by his first sergeant. He now is creating YouTube videos about how fitness has helped him deal with his PTSD. He has even gone on to help many other veterans battle their PTSD through fitness. Mike is going into a fitness competition to inspire others and spread his word. Mike has inspired so many people with his videos and he shares some of his stores in this video.
