This was the day that we awarded the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund a check for all of the money collected by the kids in Kix Country with our Quest for a Million Pennies.
It was also only a month after the 9/11 attacks, so you'll hear news-of-the-day related to that, as well as Bubba Hawkins, Mike Miller's awesome sense of humor, mentions of the songs we were playing and some background on how ice hockey got started in Savannah, GA.

3 OCT 2023 · Over the course of my 25 year radio career, I've saved a lot of aircheck tapes. On Radio Rewind, those tapes are converted to digital and brought to you again, or for the first time. My favorite tapes are those with the very funny Mike Miller and/or the ones with cool interviews. Keep your ears open for some big names, too.
Radio stations where I've worked include: 90.5 WCVH-FM, B106 Columbia, SC, Magik 105.9 Brunswick, GA, KIX 96 Savannah, 106.9 Savannah (too many name changes to mention, lol), 107.9 The Coast, NewsRadio WTKS Savannah, 98.7 The River Savannah.
