Brooke shares behind-the-scenes secrets from her season, including the restrictions of living at a UNESCO-protected Mayan ruins site, a harrowing crocodile encounter that prompted producers to bring in an expert, and the extreme hunger the cast faced eating rock-hard corn kernels. She recounts being scouted on Santa Monica's Third Street Promenade by head casting director Lynn Spillman (after previously passing up a chance to audition for America's Next Top Model), navigating the brutal 11-mile jungle hike that opened the season, and being voted out in a tribe shuffle.
