10 NOV 2021 · It was revealed this past week that President Biden has been negotiating a $450,000 payment to every illegal immigrant who was separated from their child during the Trump administration. That's a lot of money that hardworking Americans will be asked to pay. And it doesn't begin to take into account the money we already pay and the harmful affects of illegal immigration on those that immigrate legally, on our citizens and our country.
2 NOV 2021 · The Proponents of CRT want you to believe that racism is the sole reason for the disparity in standard of living between the races. While that may play a small part, the difference is more likely the result of bad policies. If big city Democrat politicians really wanted to help the communities of color, they would change the policies. But fomenting racial discord and creating divisions seems to suit their purposes better, than solutions. That's tragic.
26 OCT 2021 · Today the political left is working to make the United States a socialist country. They have forgotten what makes our country great and the values that have allowed America to deliver financial security, economic prosperity and a secure public square to multiple generations and millions of people. Today I talk with Jonathan Williams from the American Legislative Council, a free market, limited government think tank. We talk about capitalism, smaller government and personal responsibility and why they are under attack.
19 OCT 2021 · The so-called reconciliation bill working its way through Congress has some very nasty surprises in it for hardworking Rhode Islanders. Senator Whitehouse added a provision that seeks to place a fee on natural gas. In addition, despite the fact that our ozone layer is healthy, Democrats want to ban the use of the HFCs we use in our air-conditioning and replace it with enormously expensive alternatives; Hand out subsidies to 'green' energy supporters and wealthy EV buyers and more. In other words, Democrats want to make your struggle to stretch your paycheck much harder.
14 OCT 2021 · Climate Change: More Science, Not Less
For millennia Colorado and Poland were covered by seas. A thousand years ago the Yucatan Peninsula collapsed under a severe drought. Rhode Island was once covered by a sheet of ice a mile thick. All of this happened before cars and the Industrial Revolution. Climate Change advocates have demanded we shut down inquiry and simply accept their hypotheses. But that's not a responsible way for culture changing public policy to be made. We need all disciplines on board; more scientific input, not less. We need science driven by facts and data, not generous, partisan money.
17 AUG 2021 · To mask or not to mask in the coming school year. This discussion with Maddalena Cirognotta from Unmask Our Children RI will provide parents with the data they need to make an informed decision.
12 AUG 2021 · The US Senate just passed a $1.2 Trillion Infrastructure package and are now working on adding another $3.5Trillion New Green Deal spending package. They say that only corporations and billionaires are going to pay for it. If you believe that, I have a used toll gantry to sell you.
30 JUL 2021 · Our goal should be Easy To Vote, but Hard To Cheat. Sadly, Secretary of State Gorbea didn't get that memo when she submit her election law overhaul to the RI House.
28 JUL 2021 · Critical Race Theory is being pushed by the largest teachers union in the country. Why? Their job is to represent teachers, not construct curricula...especially not one based on a poisonous ideology
26 JUL 2021 · Episode 6: This past session, the General Assembly passed the Act on Climate. It has been signed into law by Governor McKee. If you think our cost of living is already hard to live with, it's going to get much, much harder.
