9 SEP 2022 · You can easily Refer to Joe Lomonaco as one of the most respected and well-liked radio professionals in Rochester - if not the region, if not the country. He would also never agree with that statement and, with a grin, slyly redirect the compliment back at you. Nevertheless, his voice and professional influences can be heard on many iHeart stations nationwide. Here in Rochester, NY, he is a trusted voice. You can hear his voice introducing shows at the Auditorium Theatre and in radio ads on every frequency. My favorite trivia about Joe was his multiple appearances on Family Guy as the Quahog's own WQHG-FM radio yuckster Weenie of Weenie and The Butt.
For me personally, he is one of the radio guys I most wanted to meet when I got into this business and I am proud to have gotten to know him. Maybe after this plays we will hang out more - I guess that all depends on if he thinks this amount of praise is creepy or not. It's not creepy, right? Joe is the wizard behind the production department at our local iHeart stations and is also very active in our community. Thanks JoLo for being on the podcast.
25 MAR 2022 · Veronica Volk spends her days impressing me and her colleagues with her journalism and ethical reporting on WXXI. Yes, I can bet you that she cringed when she read those words, but they are true. Veronica is kind of journalist that we need in our world, where journalism and media are in the crosshairs. Join me in a conversation with the host of WXXI News's Podcast Ear Shot. (Full Disclosure, ROC Vox is an underwriter for that podcast, but I tried to get her on my podcast long before that show was introduced.)
7 FEB 2022 · From Dino the Van Dog (a nickname I always bring up with him) to the host of Dino and Friends, mornings on Fickle 93.3 in Rochester - Dino Kay has been a fixture in Rochester radio - a mainstay if you will. I call him "the hardest working man in Rochester Radio", and it's not far off. There's nothing he won't do for his family, friends and this community. I am proud to have gotten the chance to work with and learn from Dino Kay. Listen up.
21 JAN 2022 · I had the pleasure of working with Kevin Gillan at WARM 101.3 (Stephens Media Group) from 2012-2020. Kevin is a generous guy with a unique sense of humor and an impeccable sense of comic timing. Sit in with a glimpse into what contributed to Kevin's success in the Afternoon Drive slot in Rochester for so many years.

22 NOV 2021 · #104 - Starting out as Tony Matthews, he was given that name by a Program Director who didn't think his Italian surname would go over well. His PD apparently didn't know the market. Tony is one of the greats in town and as of this recording in 2021, still makes them smile in the morning.
22 NOV 2021 · #103 - Dave Kane, Kane-O or Mambo Dave ran middays on WCMF for many years. Here's a man who paid his dues, my dues, your dues and paid them with a smile on his face and the best damn midday Rock-n-Roll show - well known in Rochester by his "Work Force" fans.
22 NOV 2021 · #102 - Smilin' Jack Palvino is one of the most recognized personalities in Rochester Radio. We visit with Jack about his incredible career starting as talent and retiring as owner.
