16 APR 2025 · The Figueroa Twins are some of the nicest, well mannored, profession and charginng teenagers I have ever met. List to their story of how their incredibly suppostive dad, got them into mountain biking.
They have sponsors and a plan, to reach the top of the sport, while being kind and giving back along the way. A very refreshing conversation with 2 really nice motivated young men.
9 APR 2025 · One of my oldest friends in mountaain biking, Tarek was the first Sponsored Freerider in Europe. As one of the Rocky Mountain Fro Riders, Tarek had the flattest table top in the business, until a serious crash landed him in a wheelchair. His personality and  perserverance are infectious, if you meet him.
For the past 15 years his agency has represeted the biggest names in mountai biking; Danny Macaskill, Fabio Wibmer, Thomas Gennon, Marin Soderstrom...to name a few.
Danny, Tarek and I are about to embark on a Trans Alp Adventure ride from Munich, Germany to Riva Del Garda, Italy. Danny and I will be on EMTB bikes and Tarek on his ETMB Bowhead 3 wheeled hand pedal bike.Â
We talk about being an agent and our incredible journey we are about to tackle.

2 APR 2025 · One of my best friends Wade Simmons, was named the Godfather of Freeriding many years ago becasue he emboies exactly what the word Freeride means to so many people, Ride and be Free.
His win at the very first Redbull Rampage, solidified him iin everyone's minds as the Godfather.
We talk about the past, the current state of the riding atmoshphere and his new luricant brand Godfather's Garage. A true hard core mountain biker from the gnarliest riding spot on earth, the North Shore of Vancouver.

28 FEB 2025 · Andrew Herrick jump on board with Carl and Frank to create the component brand Crankbrother, but his journey started long before that. Striaght out of university, he and his friends made the first "fun" lubricant brand, Pedros.
Pat Parnel and I ask all the necessary questions about the few chapters inbetween the companies he participated in, riske advertising and working with Shaun Palmer.
Today the three Crankbrothers are still creating solutions for cyclist in Laguna Beach.

Rob was one of the early sponsored Skateboarders, who took everythign he learned in that industry and brought it to mountain biking. Creating a very cool brand, with great bikes and the Santa Cruz Syndicate World Cup Race team. The winningest DH race team in history.

13 FEB 2025 · Two very important MTB Hall of Famers Horst invented the Horst Link suspension that we see on probably 75 % of modern mountain bikes and Chuck (Laguna Rad) brought Mountain biking to Laguna Beach and opened the first MTB Shop.
These 2 older gentalmen talk about the old days, their impact on the sport and what they dislike about where things are at today.

30 JAN 2025 · Tony Z, is a pillar of our Mountain Bike Community in Laguna Beach, CA.
He worked at Oakley as a designer and took his skill out on his own to create Fix Manufaturing. Making tools for the activities he enjoys most, is his job and passion.
If he wasn't busy enough statring a business, being a father and a Laguna Rad, he started the high school cycling program in town and an annual bike race called the Laguna Beach Dirt Fondo.
A treat to learn more about such an inspiring fella.Â
